Hey big boy,

Well, I am missing you right now and wanted to write. I love being at work but I just don't get enough time with you once I get home. You are SO cuddly and smiley! I am so happy I am your mom. You have started playing with the frog toy attached to your car seat. You deliberately hit the frog and other toys and even talk to them. You have also started putting your burp cloths and blankets in your mouth. You are still obsessed with trying to fit your fist in your mouth too.

We had to switch your formula from Enfamil Gentlease to Enfamil Nutrimagen because you were having dark blue/green, watery...well you know. It smells like Cheese-Its but you seem to like it and so does your little baby body.

Night time has been consistantly great. Sometimes you wake to eat once (you sleep through the night some nights!) then wake in the morning at 6:30-7:00. Your little cheeks and nose get rosy like Daddy after you eat. I get teary eyed all the time watching all of the new little things you do. People are right when they say your baby will grow up fast.

Snow Day

Hey love bug,

You are such a character! You are continuing to coo and giggle all the time. Just so we will never forget you are there, the past 2 nights you have started crying in your sleep! Yes, you are asleep and crying; like a bad dream or something. During your nap, I watched as your lip got big, then cry for a minute or so, then still with eyes close, stop and drift back off. Strange little child :)

A few days ago, Mommy decided to start using formula and you seem to be taking to it fairly well (my body isn't but that is a whole other story). It takes you about 45 minutes to eat about 4-5 ounces. Sometimes you will cry because the formula makes you burp a bunch; it's better than gas!

It snowed here yesterday and you were not impressed. Mommy took you out while you were awake an you hated it! I brought you back upstairs then when Daddy came home, you had already fallen asleep so we took you outside for some pictures LOL. 

You love to play on your back. You can lay in the same position with sometime talk with you for an hour! Don't get me wrong, you love to be held but sometimes you want to just chill and chat. 

Still hate your car seat :( Hopefully that will change since you will be in the car quite a lot next week and the weeks to come.

Hey big boy,

This past week was fun! On Monday, we went to the doctor and you weighed your birthday, 11 pounds 8 ounces. You were also consistently sleeping from bedtime (9- 9:30) to about (3-4:30). You are an early riser, usually waking around 7:30. Each day you learn how to talk more! When you start to get fussy, it sounds like you are trying to tell us what you want. Your cry sounds like you are saying, "ma ma." You have found your hands! Not only can you rub your eyes, you try to soothe yourself by sucking (more like drooling) on your fist. You can fit almost the whole thing in your mouth.

We also went to lunch with Elizabeth and Jakson; you two were super cute! In 2 days, you will be 3 months old. Holy crap! Where did the time go? One more week at home with you, sweet boy......

Yep, another nickname. Anyway, you slept 7.5 straight hours last night then after eating, slept another two. Thank you big boy for a god night's rest. You like to sleep on your right side; I wonder if that will stick. While positioner at Grandma and Grandpa's yesterday, you fell asleep in my arms then took a nap in your. Of course, you sleep in your positioner at night, but never for naps. What a big boy!

This weekend, you had your first sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It went SO well. Grandma says that when you get older, she will watch movies with you, make popcorn, the whole deal. She also said if you are good, she may take you to the toy store. I am writing this so you can remind her of her promises LOL.
