You know your in Georgia when...

Boo Boo Bunny,

The weather was a perfect 72 today, contrary to the 22 it was two weeks ago when you were eating snow off the ground. That's Georgia for ya! The two of us had a great time at the park. I am looking forward to many summer days there.

what's this?
eewww
You loved the swing!

look at that dimple!
cheese!
Mayor McCheese!

After the park, Gram and Pop's neighbor stopped by with their puppy. At first, you weren't impressed but once you realized you could pick him up, you liked him. You were so gentle with him too.

If only the weather could always be this beautiful!

Grandma started calling you Baby Boo and I tagged along. Then it morphed into Boo Boo, then Boo Boo Bunny. On a typical day, we see at least 3 head traumas. When A.K. was little, when she had a cold Boo Boo Bunny. Makes me think of you!

Birthday Bonanza

Porky Pig,

Yesterday was Grandma's (Bammaw as I like to call her lately) birthday!

It is also your Grandaddy's birthday (Dad's dad). Pretty cool! We celebrated by shopping (bought my dress for Ry Ry's wedding) and dinner with the Spinner's.

You will not look at or be still for the camera and our focus isn't the best but hey, you can still see you cuteness. At dinner you were in rare form showing off a skill I imagine Wyatt taught you...screaming. You wouldn't eat ravioli and kept screaming. It really didn't subside today either. Let's hope it's a short phase!
Before yesterday's bonanza, we attended a music class with Haven and some new friends Emerson, Sutton, and Reed. You refused breakfast so I imagine that is why you weren't too into the singing and dancing (because normally you would have eaten it up!). After a snack, you were ready to rock and roll with Emerson. She is a feisty 3 year old and you adored her. You kept knocking down her mega block towers and she'd get mad, you'd get mad, and Mrs. Jordan (Emerson and Sutton's mommy) would laugh. I hope we can have more play dates with them! Funny story. Mrs. Lisa and Haven came into the room you were playing in the a banana (your favorite food). Lisa asked Haven if he wanted some of it and he singed the word banana. When Lisa said, "he just signed banana" you turned around and said," banana." Of course it was in your own words ("bana") but it cracked me up!
Speaking of getting mad, you can get really angry sometimes. I know where have no idea where you go it from...You especially take it out on me. It's like you snap, grab my hair, and almost growl. You pull hard. And when you stop, you hit. Now that I don't know where you learned. Again, we are hoping with sentences soon to come, we can eliminate this phase soon!
Today after work, we headed out with the Spinner clan to Atlantic Station. The weather was 72 degrees with a light breeze. Perfect for outdoor play time!

This one is funny. The little girl was actually being chased by her dad. Little did she know...

Hopefully we can see Grandaddy this week and wish him a very happy belated birthday!

Another funny story. On Wednesday, Grandma took you to Publix. When relaying this story to me, she made note of how many elderly people were in the store (she obviously didn't realize Wednesday is senior day) and how much they LOVED you. She said so many people kept coming up to her complimenting you. One in particular came up and the elderly woman said, "he is so beauttiful." Gram replied with a thanks and right after the lady said, "I want to give him this" and handed you 50 cents! That is where your lucky 50 came from (assuming you still have it!).

We can now add, "pop pop" to the list of words you say. You really love your Pop! I was reading back on this time last year and the letter is entitled, poopy. Cracked me up because yesterday, you had an explosive poopy that went all over the place on the exact same day as last year....

Love you,
Mommy

Just Us

see how long it is?

Mullet Man,

I am trying to convince Daddy to let me take you to your get your first haircut because the back is seriously getting long. I guess I too am still debating as it is a big step! Anyway, we haven't been too busy lately. Just the usual, playing, napping, errand running. Dad and I managed to snap some pictures of ya today. It is SO hard to get you to 1. stop for a picture 2. look at the camera. We love your energy and wish you'd pass some on to us. Thankfully you are sleeping great now so I know that is what it's from!

can't catch me

paparazzi please stop!
please!
they find me everywhere. geezz...
We treasure our family time in the playroom each night before bed. The three of us have a great time! Last week, we each were dancing playing instruments.

Sleep well my angel,

Repeat after me

Warnew,

Honestly, you never cease to amaze me. This time however, I am truly taken back. I think because I was mentally prepared for previous milestones (because I had seen you work on them), they didn't hit me as hard (hard but this is rough).

It is ridiculously clear through these letters and accounts that you love music. Yesterday, Gram, Pop, and Great Gram and Pop brought you up to my job to eat lunch. They told me you had been saying, "old mcdonald" the whole way. Whatever guys. No seriously, Gram sung it 1 time and I heard, "old dick da." Holy cow! You have said, "ei ei o" for a little while but this was huge. You continued to sing it all day today.

Speaking of today, Mr. Sponge was at it again. You kept repeating what we were saying. It is really freaking me out! We sang "pretty baby" you said, "pretty baby." Repeatedly. I called Mason,  Dad and I heard you reply, "Maon." You also started something new tonight that just baffles me. Mouthing words. I noticed that tonight while I was singing "away in a manger" and you were dancing with your manger (remember the nativity you love?), that you were moving your mouth (no words). We started singing "Happy birthday" to Gram and Great Gram and Pop and yet again, you mouthed the words. You continued throughout the evening.

As you can see by how quickly I wrote this note, I am extremely excited about all your new skills. Got to start watching my tongue!

Love,
Mommy (my favorite thing you say)

Unforgettable

Baby Boo,

I am not a forgetful person. However, I am a looney tune and sometimes when writing, I leave out things I shouldn't have. I apologize. Thankfully, I am able to redeem myself through the creation of this letter. Here are some things you missed...

one day while home with Daddy over Christmas break, you curled up with your caterpillar and just fell asleep in the middle of the playroom
you love the play place at Chick-fil-a and the one by our house has a ladder of sorts you must climb in order to reach the tunnels. the last time we went probably 3 weeks ago, you climbed to the top. here is you playing with a random child.
you can say, "ye aw" while riding your horse. you can rock back on forth on him too. yo ulove to push his ears and make him neah (spelling?).

you poop pretty regular. I always know about 20 minutes after breakfast it's gonna happen.

you are obsessed with Grammy and Pop's Fisher Price nativity. They couldn't put it away with all of the other Christmas paraphernalia because I know you would have missed it. There is a button at the top of it and you push it, grab it with tow hands and dance.
you like ice cream more than you should

when I said you love to bounce in my last letter I was referring to when you straddle my stomach and bounce on it. ow for me, fun for you.

you love carrying around soft blankets (not a new fact but needed mention)

we have started using a potty! i bought a seat for the potty and just set you on it before bath/shower time. you have yet to go and I am not pushing it but I just want you to get used to it.

you love the dishwasher. I let you "help" me unload it. Daddy...not so much.

your hair is no long enough to MOHAWK!
you no longer enjoy avocados and you don't like ketchup

If I think of more, I will add it and don't worry, I'l get better at adding details (lol).

I run this ship

Ahoy Matey!

What a busy day! Ok not really. You tore apart went shopping at a couple stores then we got to hang out with A.J. and Wyatt.
love you man
This can't be good
As usual, you bullied the crap out of Wyatt. This time I think because he was playing with your toys. Kept grabbing his sippy away and would get so mad at him when he was playing with certain toys that you would pull his hair. I don't even know what to say except I hope preschool in the fall will help.

Here is a sample schedule just in case your curious (which I imagine you could care less):
Wake up and breakfast: 8 (you get a sippy of milk with whatever your breakfast is)
Nap: 11:30
Lunch: 1:30 or whenever you wake up
Nap: 5 (this one is depending on your mood)
Dinner: 6:30 (or whenever Dad and I eat)
Sippy of milk: 8:30 (7 oz.)
Bed: 9

The "cheese" has made a comeback!

You know how to bounce really well.
Another tooth has arrived. Bottom left of the bottom left (make sense?). Today, you pooped in the tub for the first time. Thankfully, you were all clean. Of course, when taking it out of the tub, I must have dropped some and stepped in it. There I go getting it all over the bathroom floor. Nice Jenny. After putting your diaper on, I went to pick out your clothes. I hear a Velcro noise and turn around to watch as you take off your diaper (first time), stand up, parade it around, then step on it.
You really do run this ship and we love it. You are a total goof
our nutty professor
and a bit of a daredevil

but we wouldn't have it any other way!

Love,
Momma
